Christmas is upon us once again! We all are going to the mall searching for that last gift or two, getting ready for Christmas Day. This is true for here, as well as for people that are from Veggietales. Larry works as a elf who gathers peoples ideas for gifts  they want on Christmas. He loves his job so much and calls himself Merry Larry. He enjoys spreading the Christmas love. While he is receiving gifts one day, a little girl asks him if he would like buy a Christmas card. He buys one and asks her what she is saving the money for. She says that she is trying to raise money for her neighbor so her neighbor can fix her house that burnt down. Larry immediately tries to help the little girl, but, through a lot of misunderstanding, things get a little out of hand…. A great Christmas movie for little kids.

Check out the hilarious silly song for kids!

The Toy That Saved Christmas

Can you believe that Christmas is almost around the corner? Yes, before you know it you won’t be able to go down to Bob’s store without hearing the Christmas music through the loudspeakers– and it’s not even Halloween yet!?!

You can’t see it, but my house was featured in this DVD! Well, my old house. Most of this show focuses on house #4, by if they’d just gone a couple houses down, to house #1, well I would have gotten my debut. Oh well.

This movie is all well and good. George is explaining the Christmas story by telling the story of Buzz Saw Louie, one toy made in Mr. Nezzar’s toy factory (he was saving up for his chocolate factory at this point) that suddenly gets a conscience and doesn’t believe that getting things is the true spirit of Christmas.

After escaping from the toy factory, he bumps into Bob, Larry and Junior who have just had a tumble in the snow. Incidentally, don’t ever play mousetrap with Bob. He lost my rubber band the last time that he was over and I haven’t been able to play it since!

Another Christmas VeggieTales?

So, what would you think of this idea of a new VeggieTales Christmas episode, based on the idea of the story of Saint Nick?

They’ve done the story of Saint Patrick before.  Is this good for our kids?  Do you do Santa with your children?

It’ll be interesting to see how they treat this subject.  They have done Santa before, as a part of the Toy that Saved Christmas—Bob was playing Santa in that sill song.
