It’s no secret that every blogger likes an audience. I’m no different. So, this week, while talking with Jazz and Anna I’ve thought of different ideas of how I could grow this one—let me know what you think.
- Post frequently – A given since people don’t like to read a blog that doesn’t have new content.
- Have a different writer- This I’ve accomplished with adding Jazz.
- Run a Contest – Thought of this before… Anyone want a contest where you could win the next VeggieTales video when it comes out next month?
- Poll Questions – Ask a question…
- Pretend to be in a fictional place and write from there.
- Discuss what VeggieTales characters would play a part in another fictional series.
- Have a VeggieTales Photoshop contest.
- Enter many Thursday Thirteens.
- Write more VeggieTales video reviews.
- Comment on other’s blogs.
- Join a VeggieTales newsletter.
- Buy Big Idea – Did you hear it was for sale.
- Advertise.

I would defiantly participate in a Veggie tales contest.

It’s always a challenge – driving more traffic to your blog. Looks like you have some pretty good ideas here.
Wow, I didn’t know Big Idea was for sale. That’s always a little worrisome. What will new buyers do with the precious veggie tale characters? Scary stuff.

I do a few of those, but actually I write mainly for the therapy. I don’t sell or convince or intrigue or proselytize; I just like the thinking and planning required—and I like learning from others.

Well, I think you have veggie tales covered; I’ll try something else. I do try to post often though, and sometimes I have guest writers. A contest…sounds intriguing…nah.
Great ideas!!! I have very low traffic on my page so I might try some of these ideas.
great list – commenting on other blogs is very important I am always finding new blogs via comments on my posts or reading comments people write on other peoples -that get me interested.
These are some good practical ideas. I’m always looking for ways to grow my readership…it’s kind of been stagnant lately. I also wanted to thank JazzRasp for stopping by and commenting on my TT…that’s always an encouragement!
A veggie contest sounds like fun, Veggie tales came after my kids’ time. But it would be fun.

I think those are some good ideas! I’m just blogging for fun myself, not trying to accomplish a goal really, but definitely visiting others is one way to increase your visibility I think, and the Thirteens definitely always give my blog a jump on those days!
